Wicklowe’s Silver Knight C.D.
(Kirklyn's Country Casanova x Starberry Quicksilver)
I was 14. I was dog crazy, more like animal crazy. We drove to Pittsburgh and brought home a gangly six-month-old speckle faced Collie named Arf. Arf and I started obedience and earned a Companion Dog-CD-title. We were encouraged to try conformation and won a Group 2 one day and the next we won a Group 1 from the Working Group. OK, it was a long time ago. We were a team, and it laid the cornerstone for future success.

Donlyn's Tar N'Feathers

(Ch Helbo's Treetop Technician x Kolar's Dark Star Princess)
On March 18, 1966 at the Collie Club of America National Specialty in Columbus, Ohio I won the 6-9 month Puppy Bitch AOC Class with Mandy. Nicholos Maravolo judged and I handled her. Since Mandy's pedigree went back to Ch. Scotlyn's Casanova I decided to breed her to Glen Knolls Knightswood Sky. I put her on a plane to Edith Levine and shortly after whelped my very first litter.

Cindy of Claremont. My first Collie, my first love.
